Dear #name#,

Research Abstracts
We have started a new section of Abstracts on 'posture' and will begin filling it up with as many relevant abstracts and articles we can find.  Keep an eye out!

SportEX
STT has joined forces with SportEX to deliver STT mailing list members new and informative information.  SportEX magazines and online delivery information will take the place of the STT eMag.  Finding willing and credible authors to provide articles proved to be too difficult to continue the STT eMag. Thanks to those who helped!
We will roll out  information on how it works in due course.  For starters, check out the link below.  Click here.

Forum
One of the more interesting topics has been posted by 'Me' on the STT forum.  Below is the question posed.  Jump on board and have your say.  We believe this question is one of the most topical and important to the future of our profession.  Forum

I'm curious to what people believe are our professions most important issues with regard to our future. These are mine, drawn from my own experiences and what I have read on this forum. Change their order, change them entirely if you wish.

1. Education minimum standards accross the nation
2. Association Unity
3. Registration (not self regulation that we currently have that does nothing)
4. Research unit, including phd opportunities
5. Alignment with other manual therapies on GST
6. Protection of name (only those that have earned the right to call themselves RMT can do so)
7. Consolidation of professional name (RMT, STT, Myo, MT etc)
8. Development of career paths. Special interest groups governed by national association.
9. Becoming a part of the EPC group (currently 9 professions that are part of the extended primary care program for chronic patholgoies- clients can gain medicare rebates)
10. DVA acceptance
